I collaborated with students from Sungkyunkwon University in Seoul, South Korea to create a collection inspired by the works of Tim Burton. The piece I created for this project was an entirely hand-knit dress made of pieces of ribbon that I cut up, tied together, and knit as a single feed of yarn using garter stitch. The straps were made of soft plastic that was knitted and ribbons that I wove into the garment. The entire dress was handmade and hand finished. Sungkyunkwon University students worked with me to create hats and a layered necklace/scarf that completed the collection.
